Mark is a native of Arlington County, a 1981 graduate of Villanova University, and a 1988 graduate of the George Mason University School of Law. Prior to law school, Mark worked for First Virginia Bank where he gained invaluable experience in banking and commercial and retail lending. He works primarily in the transactional development area of the firm’s practice representing both developers and lenders in commercial loan closings, preparing contracts and commercial leases, preparing subdivisions, easements, homeowner association and other development documents, and drafting various partnership, corporate and limited liability company documents. He is thoroughly familiar with Virginia foreclosure procedure having served as a trustee under numerous deeds of trust.
Mark is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Bar of the District of Columbia. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the United States District Court for the State of Maryland. Mark has served as a member of both the Board of Directors for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Management for the Arlington YMCA. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors for Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia.
