Bill has been with WCLEW since his graduation from George Washington University Law School in 1985. Bill has gained experience in a number of diverse areas of law, in jurisdictions including Arlington County, Fairfax County, Prince William County and others.

Bill's primary focus is on the transactional and development aspect of the firm's practice, with extensive background in the preparation of leases and contracts, including agreements with governmental entities. As a result of his clients' needs, Bill is very familiar with partnership, and corporate matters, creating the necessary documents for the formation of partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. He has had primary responsibility within the firm in assessing the effect of the Americans With Disabilities Act on development in the area.

Bill keeps informed of changing developments in the law as an active member of the Real Property and Construction Law sections of the State Bar Association, and through his affiliation with the Arlington County Bar Association. Among his community involvements, Bill serves on the Board of Directors of the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing and he is a member of an Arlington School Board Language Arts Committee.
